not getting any better

well, i need to spend some time off to blog. I've been struggling to keep myself in shape to study. Yesterday after class, I had a really terrible headache. It started off with a mild headache all over my head. It's everywhere but the pain is scattered and mild. I continue doing my stuff of course since the pain is not too serious. After a while, the pain starts to move and gather on the right side of my head and it affects also the eye area. I felt pain from my forehead all the way down to my eyes. I decided to take 2 tablets of panadol and then go to bed. Today morning i woke up around 6am and i still feel the pain, it was even worse than last night. I decided to take 2 panadol again. I had a class at 12pm actually and i was thinking not to go for class but to see a doctor. 2 things came across my mind when i had that pain. Firstly, since it affects my eyes I was worrying the same thing that would happen to me which happened to my Uncle. He was a sailor and had a certain disease. The symptoms was that he had continuous headache for couple of weeks and after that he's vision gradually became less until he couldn't see anything at all. Doctor made a scan of his brain and found that the brain is shrinking until a certain size, the human body couldn't function with certain part of the brain, and therefore he passed away. I was so freaked out when I had this headache especially when i felt the pain on my right eyes too. The 2nd thing I'm worried is that if this headache continues, I'll never get a chance to study and i'll never pass my examinations. I don't usually do this in life, but i decided to leave it to faith. I was thinking, if after that 2 panadol and a good rest and i felt better, i'll go to school and not seeing a doctor, otherwise I'll see a doctor. After a 2 hours sleep, i really felt better.

I'm starting to believe things that i never do before. For example horoscope. I read my horoscope from one of those sites today and for the last few weeks. I'll give u 2 cases. Last week it tells me that I'll face a gadget problem and true enough my printer wasn't functioning well. This week it tells me that I'll receive a call from a person that has not contacted me for a long time, and it did happen!! Sometimes these things are hard to believe, but when it really happens, u'll find it so interesting.

I hav 2 go. I'm feeling bad now. I think the headache is going to come back soon. Scheize, I hope it's not something serious. wish me luck.

Barcelona Rome Berlin Munich

Another trip that made me open my eyes wide. On the 28/5 17:55, i took off from Duesseldorf airport heading to Barcelona with my parents. My feeling was half happy half worried at that time. I actually self declared holidays to accompany my parents for this trip. The night we landed in Barcelona, we had a lil difficulty finding our hotel. After walking about 30 mins, we finally found it with some help of some youngsters. My dad learned some spanish before he came so he could understand some simple spanish. The hotel we were staying was located just on one of the lanes parallel to the main shopping/clubbing street Las Ramblas. However it was late at night and my parents were tired so we just had some meal and went to bed.

29/5 early morning, my parents woke up like 5am because sun already rise and they thought it was 9am already lolz. we head to the city centre and there's an official tour bus company with loads of people queuing up for it. Well, we were new over there so decided to follow the tour as well. This tour is pretty good as u can hop in and off the bus at any stops they make. It is also a guided tour where u can listen to commentary. We decided to make 1 round first before stopping at any location. Barcelona was so beautiful. let the pictures speak....

After 3 days in Barcelona, we head to Rome. It was kinda screwed up flight as it's the cheapest budget flights. My mom was right, though it's cheap but the service was even more cheap. That's why sometimes it's worth paying more for better service. Firstly they do not give free check in baggage and you have to pay 12EUR!!! for 1 baggage with the limit of 15kg. 2ndly you can't pay on the check in counter. Forget bout the hustle. we reach rome at 7pm and the room we booked(a bed & breakfast apartment) was nice. Well equipped and very clean, even had a small computer for me to surf internet. We had a chat with the owner and asked bout some information...man i just luv the way the Italians speak English lolz. Later in the night, we were hungry and there was a pizza restaurant just around the corner. It was so funny because they don't speak english and we can't understand italian coz it was somewhere in a residential area. It was so embarrasing and the tables around us were looking at us. Rome was another beautiful town. here's some pics...
Few things i have to say bout Rome. Indeed it's a beautiful place but the people there sux. First of all, the security level is kinda low. 2ndly if u're planning to visit there please get a Italian phrasebook or lean some italian first before you go. 3rdly, practice the malaysian way of crossing the road or else u'll not able to cross forever. The traffic condition there is really bad so it's good you can take the underground. Even the underground, it's a good place to keep fit because it's super packed n crowded. Italian ppl are impatient and rude. They generally speak very loud and they don't brush their teeth eventhough u can find "made in italy" in most of ur toothpaste!!!! another thing is if u're a coffee lover, please don't go there and order cappucino because they only drink super thick kau kau Espresso. to them cappucino is like hot chocolate!!

So after Rome, Berlin!!! Ah finally somewhere where i can understand everyone. Finally i'm familiar with the transportation and most importantly it's one of the safest country!!! Lolz i din take much pics of Berlin as i've been there 2 years ago but i finally able to open my eyes wide on the new Main Train Station (hauptbahnhof) which was completed during the world cup. It's really state of the art architecture and engineering. the fast trains enter the building on the 5th floor and the long distance trains on the 1st floor. Floor 2,3,4 are shopping and restaurant. It's like indoor themepark with trains as rollercoaster. Super super chun...however i'm only able to take a pic from the outside. Finally the last destination : Munich. One word to describe this city...nice. Of course when u come to munich, u would actually consider doing either one of these activity : Skiing or visiting the Newschwanstein castle. Some might choose both lolz. The last 2 years i came to munich, my brother wanted to ski so much so we decided to go skiing and now i'm finally able to do the other thing, to see the castle that inspires Disney's castle. It's still one of the strong candidate for the new 7 wonders of the world. Of course munich is more than the castle...again pics will tell u more...
I'm sorry i'm not a good narrator. I can't describe how beautiful these cities are. Well after so many places i've been to, i'll give u my top 10:
1.) Barcelona (nice scenes, nice ppl, nice food)
2.) Edinburgh(nice modern city with old structures)
3.) Rome(nicer scenes than Edinburgh but the ppl there sux)
4.) London(has lots of things to see but again too crowded)
5.) Munich ( less scene, nice food, super nice town)
6.) Dublin( nice scenes, metropolitan style but things ar 2 expensive)
7.) Glasgow ( a nice place to stay on)
8.) Manchester (would be a better preference to stay on than London)
9.) Berlin(basically berlin is the most perfect place for me, however due to the language barrier)
10.) Kuala Lumpur (why is it on my list?? coz it's where i was born lolz)

After this trip, I realize one thing. Germany is actually a very very good place with good ppl compare to other places in Europe. Though language has been always the barrier for me, but i've seen sucky ppl like those in Rome. Besides, German's transportation system(especially their train network) are so advance that u can basically forget bout driving. Just get a monthly pass and the trains are actually not expensive(if u don't include the fast trains). Another thing i find germans very helpful especially if u're a tourist. Other towns kinda hate tourist especially London and Rome.

back

In case for those of u who doesn't knoe that I've been on a trip, just to tell ya I'm back..Ich bin zurueck!!! I would love to blog about my trip with quality pictures, but not now coz i'm still so tired and lots of things to do. I hav heeps of homework and notes to follow. I've to start studying too as exams are just 1 1/2 months ahead. But just feel like blogging.

Well I'll give an overall about the trip. Generally I enjoy the sight seeing and the food in some places. I had some small conflicts with my parents during the trip mostly in terms of decision making and making ourselves look like OK. Barcelona was fantastic so as Rome but i don't really like the traffic condition over there. Germany not so much comment on it since I've been here for almost 3 years. Language was a big barrier esp in Italy. Didn't buy anything from anywhere. 2 reasons for that. 1 is that we're actually on a tight schedule. 2ndly my mom is around, and she'll just comment on anything that i want to buy, whether it's too expensive or too controversial. The good thing is that my boss/aunt(the one that came to germany for world cup last year) gave me 200EUR to spend yeaa...but i'll spend it wisely and make sure it's worth wat i'm spending. However during the trip, especially at the end of it, I felt moody most of the days. Actually it's not something suprising and it doesn't mean i don't enjoy the trip. It happened to me each time i'm on a trip. I've been doing lots of thinking, and each time I'm on a trip i'll also do alot of thinking. The similarities between each trip is that I think of the same thing, just different situation, different timing and different location. Don't think i wanna talk bout wat i'm thinkin over here.

Ya so that's a lil bout the trip, when i get all da stuff ready, I'll blog more about the trip. That's all for now, be back soon. Yeah actually I would also like to take this opportunity to say sorry and Happy Belated Birthday to my 2 brothers Sein Hon and Chui Kean 26/5 and 2/6 respectively. I actually remembered your birthdays but i don't have your numbers and i'm not able to call when i'm on a trip.

I'll write
