Douglasology™: Genting Highlands

Genting Highlands, probably to some of u, its already a boring place coz been there too often. Unfortunately for me, i've not been there for almost 4 years already. Genting has gave me more bitter experience than happy ones. I'll keep the reason to myself n those who knoe wats the reason. But I still insist to go genting this time with Gabe and Kelsen. I kept tellin myself genting is just another place, but wif 2 of my best bro, i'm sure gonna enjoy it. No doubt about it, it's one of the most memorable holiday i ever had, wif loads of nice pics taken.

So lets begin wif da journey. Reach KL Sentral at 9am. Had Mc breakfast. Waited for Kelsen to come. He was late due to the the jam at old Klang Road. We took the 10.30am bus to Genting and by the time we reach there, it was almost 12pm. Immediately we check in to our room. 3 of us squeezed into a 2 person room, but it was ok coz the bed was quite big. We join 2 bed together so we hav more space to sleep. I left my white blazer and put on my black S.Oliver jacket coz we're heading to the outdoor theme park. our first ride was the lousy mine coaster which was not exciting at all. Then we had a ride wif this splash thingy. It was great getting wet. Though it wasn't scary actually but we just fake our screams. We scream even when the thing was moving at a slow constant speed lolz. Trying to attract attention I guess lolz. Then we try out the spinner. Din really enjoy it coz the excitement was jus flat, and it makes me a lil dizzy. But fak it. The next one was Super great. We took the Cork Screw. We were shouting like mad, n words like "farrrkkkk", "diuuuu"...lolzzz. We were damn noisy. After the the cork screw, next was the solero shots. Believe or not it was my first time i took that ride, and i really enjoy the first drop. When were lifted to the highest point, i look down and i was enjoying the super nice view. Within seconds, the thing start falling faster wif 1g acceleration, basically we experience a free fall. I shouted, but nth came out of my mouth. My ass was't touching the chair at all. Damn it was nice. 2nd n the rest of the drops were just normal. Then we took the cork screw again. Lolz, we really enjoy the cork screw alot. It was 4pm after everything and our stomach were totally empty. As we walk towards the entrance, we were hesitating to take the superman ride. But gabe had this buy 1 free 1 voucher, and he owns 2 of those. So we bought 3 tix free 2 tix. We sold the other 2 to an Indian couple behind us. As we patiently waited for our turn, we observed those who were currently "flying". They were so quiet as if they were sleeping up there. So we decided to make as much noise as possible. True enuf, we were damn noisy and we just scream and shout regardless of whether we're experiencing a drop or just moving at constant speed. I gotta admit though that superman ride wasn't that interesting compare to cork screw or solero, but we just scream for fun lolz. When we finish our turn, someone saw us and asked "hey are u the gang that made lots of noise?" lolzzz.

So that was the time we spent on outdoor themepark. We then head to the foodcourt to hav some budget meal. Our initial plan was to take buffet for dinner so we din had much during lunch. After meal we had a lil shopping, or window shopping session. We took heeps of photo, some funky ones. Later Kelsen went to Uncle Lim's famous casino while me n Gabe head back to our room to hav a lil rest. We couldn't sleep so we chat, almost everything. We were chattin bout our personal stuff, very private n personal stuff that i dun share wif anyone else. Lolz, Farkin chat. About one hour later, Kelsen finally came back. We changed our mind so we went for a session of karaoke. Once again, Kelsen show off his talent with his singing skills, while gabe and I embarrased ourselves. Gabe's singing wasn't that bad actually while I'm the worst. Though it was only a 2 hours session, but we couldn't even hold on for that 2 hours, especially me. Reason is becoz i sang 天高地厚and One night in 北京 by shin. The 2 heavy metal song caused me to lose my voice. But I really enjoy it coz I'm finally able to shout out. After that K session, Gabe brought us to Safari Club for a live band he claimed to be good. Damn, the live band displayed a really good performance that night, wif songs from the 80ties all the way to the recent updates. From YMCA to My Humps. It wasn't a chinese band but they sang songs from SHE and Beyond. They rox man. The lead singer, drummers and the guitarist were outstanding. Even the drummer had good voice. If u close ur eyes and just listen to the music, u would even think they were playing the CD because they played those music exactly like the original. We admire the lead singer and Gabe finally get a chance to take a pic wif her. Not just a pic, but Gabe was also able to get her hp number. Bro, I feel u man. Ur da man, ur da man. After 3 sessions of live band, Dj start spinning the records. Youngsters were down slowly moving their feet on the dance floor. I did had a lil dance, but on the other hand i was worried bout Kelsen as he din join us. He was resting somewhere coz he wasn't feeling to well. So in the end, we left the club around 1am. On our way back again we pose for some pics session. really funny pics.
